Not everyone sees Valentines day as a happy time. For some, it is linked to sad events past that will overshadow the supposedly happy occasion every year anew.
At times like these, what they need is not some silly heart shaped box of chocolates or a lovey-dovey card, but a shoulder to lean on and a symbol of comfort. A sign that they are not alone.
And while flowers may be a common gift for Valentines day, the yellow rose has a very special meaning.

This is my promise to you, Miko, that I always want to be there for you as your friend. And even if I know that I can never take away the sad memories you connect with this time of the year, I want to at least help you to take them off your mind a bit.
