Nice - I was looking at an old comics blog last night, where the guy rants about lots of archery being inaccurate:

I think you've avoided all the common mistakes he mentioned, e.g. the arrowhead is on the correct side of the bow, it's not resting on her fingers, and she's pulling the string rather than the shaft.

Thanks Lunfanen :) I do research for all of my commissions, so it's awesome to have it appreciated. Well, Yksi was an awesome customer and appreciated every inch, but I mean by someone else too :)
This was the first archery pic I've ever done, so I made-and-fixed a LOT of silly errors as it went along.

I *did* sacrifice the angle of her head for picture-prettiness, but I settled on letting myself think of it as a second 'back in time' from the final aim-and-loose. I think it worked in the end.
