When I originally designed Theran, I was going for a look that was solid and also easy to draw. Since then (almost 2 years ago, yikes), I've advanced a fair bit, and drawing more complex designs is easier. As such, I put pen to tablet and came up with a new idea for his armour that more closely resembles a functional suit of full plate armour - offering him relative mobility whilst still keeping all the bits possible covered, and keeping our friendly neighbourhood scowling spaulder :3

I could have added a lot of extra flair and gilding, but for someone like Theran, that's wasted money and time - he wants function, not style.

This will most likely be introduced in their next chapter, albeit not as a major plot point.
