Sam is the son of the late Tyesh Nightclaw. A famed mage known through out the world. he met his end protecting his young son leaving Sam to fend for himself at the age of 12. now, left behind with nothing but a strange stone to remind him of his father, Sam waits out his days hoping that someone will end his loneliness.
Joshua, found encapsulated in a strange crystalline structure within the depths of the ruins of Otrem, has escaped from a group of rogue mages searching for lost knowledge and magical artifacts. They could sense the power within Joshua and attempted to control him for their own agenda. now free, he wonders the country. lost and confused he stumbled across the home of Sam. that's when things got interesting....
