She wasn't always this tough. In her earlier years she went through her rebellious stage and did all manner of things for fun. Granted, there is only so much fun one can have up in a secluded village in the Japanese Alps. When it was time for her to come of age she had to endure the ritual of the Hishiki clan. Setsuka was not ready to say the least... for this she had her right arm removed up to a little past her elbow. With this she had to train in the ways of left-handed swordsmanship. It wasn't until much later after adapting to the lack of an arm that a young individual, youngest and adopted son of the Pride family, Pietro Pride. He would fashion her a lifelike prosthetic that few could tell the difference between.
The oldest daughter of the Hishiki clan responded well to the surgery applying the prosthetic but the rehabilitation was hellish. After enduring months of pain, adjusting her nerves to work well with the circuitry of the prosthetic, she came out much more able to endure whatever else life could throw at her.
Her equipment:
Ceremonial Wakizashi
Pipe - typically filled with tobacco from her home village. The tobacco grown there is usually used as a poison to take out targets but many of the Hishiki clan had used it for the purpose of obtaining an immunity to most poisons this way to make them better at withstanding assassination attempts. It is said the amount she places in her pipe could kill any normal person, whether this has impacted her in some other way remains to be seen.
Creator's Notes:
Setsuka is the second character I made in this series of characters. Kiba was my first and only until recently did I own up to being the one behind Setsuka in Roleplay areas. I know the stigma behind male's playing females or in this case shemales, but she is my homage to all the fantastic strong female characters I adored from the time I could understand such things. Obviously she had several influences into her overall whole of a being. Many can most likely know which characters I'm making reference and paying respect to.
