I thought it would be cool to have Yoshi all fat and about the same height as Marching Milde.
Marching Milde is the 4th Fortress boss in World 4-4 and is not so much a threat compared to other bosses in the game. Also he has a striking resemblance to Nintendo's Kirby and his German name translates to "Big Pom Pom".
