This is the print that was created to coincide with the release of 'Volume 2,' and included with pre-ordered copies. It's kind of a pic of what would be happening in between some of the scenes in the book.
It took a bit more time than my normal style, because I almost completely removed the original linework to give it a more illustrative, 3-D type of feel. Took more finessing with the shading though, because it had to do more work in defining the shapes.
...Printing out so many copies of this thing, my printer is destroying ink supplies like none other. I think I singlehandedly raised Staple's stock a few points this month.
Sidenote - I looooove atmospheric perspective!
I need to work on my water, though. I was at Cedar Falls recently, and the rippling pool cast sunlight on the bed of pebbles beneath in such a fascinating, golden array... And what do I have up here? Mild sparkles? Woo.
I'm going to make future water far more kickass.
(Sidenote - don't wade in the water this time of year, YOUR FEET WILL FREEZE OFF!)

Hi! Sorry it's been so long, I've been heavily distracted lately.... If your book was mailed, it should definitely be there by now - if it's not, e-mail me to let me know, and we'll get a replacement sent to you right away. (E-mail is a more reliableway for contacting me, since I'm notorious at ghosting out on my art accounts.)
