More 150x150 quickie character pics, this time all insecty.
Left to Right:
Sivid of the Green Male Grasshopper Druid
Hailing from the grasslands west of Migsa, Sivid was always 'close to nature' - his hatchmates joked that he was so close in fact, that his his gut was water, his soul was stone, his feet were fire, and his brain - as empty as the wind. Saving his nest from a rogue patrol of gnolls, though earned Sivid a modicum of respect, though Sivid has little idea where his magic comes from, or how exactly it works - he just knows that it does. This for Sivid is enough to keep him content.
Mawntoc Female Mole Cricket Monk
Though the Mole Cricket lineage of Tessiel was supposedly obliterated during the Ancient Wars, Mawntoc exists. Where she comes from, or if there are others of her kind, she will not say. Where she learned the ways of martial arts, she will not say. What she's looking for - likewise.
Perisistance in bringing up the topics, will lead to a swift demonstration of her abilities, and a brief lesson in the benefits of being polite.
Oh, she what she will say is that she likes carrots, onions, potatoes, and celery. That is all.
Crikkish Male Click Beetle Ranger
Born in the moutnains far south of Kharakul, Crikkish was orphaned early by a forest fire, rescued and raised by a blind termite drone hermit named Tsooth, both of which believe they're the last of their kind. Over time, Crikkish's careful explorations of the country side led to him shadowing the Sea People's he'd come across, slowly developing the equivalent talents of a Ranger. Open contact always led to outright hostility, but his curiosity won't let him leave well enough alone.
Crikkish's thirst for knowledge of the world at large is unquencheable, and its likely only a matter of time before he heads north, into the heart of Tessiel, seeking answers to the swarm of questions buzzing about in his mind.
***
Needed to so some buggies, and these are presented as typical player characters, though the concept of Tessiel kinda showcases the insects as the antagonists, unique NPC's, and plot fulcrums, rather than PC's.
