He did a great job with this, the only problem is the way he's holding it. I can just see it that the first shot is just going to make the butt of the gun hit him square in the face. unless he's strong enough to hold it back. other wise, I have seen AKs used without their stocks.
Alright I couldn't tell the gender that easily, but yeah. I see what you're saying. the gun's probably heavy enough that it doesn't have THAT much recoil to it compared to a high caliber pistol.
I won't say that the AK-47 is THE best rifle in the world, but it definately is way up there among the top few and most iconic guns.

artist is she, character is male X3 but everyone has personal preference. being in the military myself and handling the M4 and my own AR-15 and M16 i've just started disliking the platform but i have always loved the AK platform. and the AK was actually rated best assault rifle, i forgot which show it was but it was on the military channel, it was a few years back though so a modern rifle could have surpassed it but i still love it
Yeah. at this point, it is purely up to prefferance for what your favorite gun is. I've personally always prefered best possible accuracy with power. in terms of modern guns that I could find, the scar-17 fills that role really well, though I remember that was classified as a Battle rifle, not an assault rifle. which i'm not sure if those are just tongue and cheek or actual classifications that differ them.
is there a real difference? X3 haven't gotten hold of a scar yet. but AKs are accurate and a decent yardage and the 7.62 is a lovely round. also very reliable and easy to replace broken parts. i've seen them dipped in tanks of water, mud and sand but still function just fine.
I know that the scar-17 uses a 7.62 nato round. and a person I saw reviewing it said it was very accurate over long range. are you familiar with the youtube user FPS russia? he owns and reviews plenty of guns including stuff like the AK, Scar, and other guns from SMGs, pistols, and once even showed off a 25 mm machine artillery gun.

Although in seriousness the Ak-47 is one of those rifles that you would think is a piece of crap yet somehow that gun is the most reliable in the world and all that jazz. Though I usually put an m4 with my characters despite how not AK-47 they are because the accessories look cool.
