So, while this IS the first piece in my Concentration series for my ( stupid, shitty, stressful ) AP Studio Art class, mainly this was really a personal piece, as much as it was me practicing again with straying from my comfort zone with thick, black outlines, overly-stylized work, and plain-or-no backgrounds. And honestly, I'm really, really proud of this one.
For...wow, like two-ish years now, I've been trying to find SOME way to depict what images this song brings to my mind whenever I hear it. And the more I haven't been able to, the more images have appeared, and the more memories have been connected to the song. So, so many memories near and dear to my heart.
Finally, I've been able to get my thoughts and my feelings out on paper. So here it is, and I really hope you all enjoy it.

EDIT: Now the regional winner (Honourable Mention, huhuhu) of the National Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Holy crap, why even.
