Lai and I RP a lot, and most of my character designs for him or me stem from that. Lai has this lovely bee persona that never ever seems to have a concrete design, thus there's none of it in this gallery. :C HOWEVERRR, I just managed to work up an insect persona for myself to go with bee Lai, based on a white ermine moth, Spilosoma lubricipeda. Ohhh I love bugs. ;o;
Ah, PS: She's really supposed to be snowy white, but silly Ily keeps designing white characters while using brown recycled paper, hrrfdrrh. :E

Oh, my goodness. I love everything about this.
(And not just in the way leaf-nosed bats usually love moths, either. 3;<9)
The markings, the hands and feet, the slim, expressive second set of arms -- most people doing multi-armed critters try to make all the amrs the same size, which is just makes impossible shoulder joints. It's just beautiful. I love the face, and the plump, [strike]tasty[/strike] graceful abdomen. It's wonderful!
