I had to try it^^
Drums are from a sample pack,
Everything else was played by me (on my french horn and my electric piano) - of course, the strings were synthed on the e-piano)
this one's for everyone.
Don't give up, when darkness falls! Stand up for yourself!

really quite good i must say,
if i were to come with some critism it would be that during the part from about 1:17 to just before 2:24, i feel like the drum cycle should be lowered just a tiny bit to make the horn stand out a bit more, while still holding the rhytm, so if you were to imagine that it was played live on a scene, the "rhytmics" i.e. the drum and so on would take a step backwards while the horn player would take a couple of steps forwards thowards the audience.
atleast that's my opinion take it for what you will,
then at about the 2:22 you can begin to "unfade" the drums again.
my reasoning behind lowering the level of the drums on the horn part would be that it feels like it overshadows your french horn a bit too much. while the rest of the piece doesn't feel like it suffer from the same problem, you could also increase the volume of the french horn, but it easily makes the sound seem unclear if increased too much,
anyways as i said, great piece of art, and take my critique for what you want, as i am not a musician, but everyone's a critic.

Thank you very much for the praise and the criticism, as it's very true what you're saying, concerning the drum loops. I'll be working on another piece soon, though, I'll not use drum loops in that one, but rather let them be played by a friend of mine, as drum loops are kind of... shitty... and I don't have any drums at home, and I suck at playing them *lol* but thank you very much! You're very right! The drums are definitely too loud at that point!
This one was just some experiment, because I haven't done any multi-track-piece so far (except for this one obviously^^) and I've done this for practise. Your advice really helps, and it's a great way to improve!
Thank you again for your detailed explanation, I appreciate it very much, when flaws are pointed out. That's the only way to improve, I guess ;D thanks *thumbsup for you*
~to me, detailed criticism has a great value, it's the best kind of response I can get! thanks again ;)
