i ALMOST can't express how much I love, not only this /piece/. but, even more so than that, i love the concept of this piece. A cheetah running fullbore is nothing new. But you've managed to reinvent that. It's the outfit. If, in fact, there was an anthro cheetah, and he was running, he would want as little on as possible. and he'd have to keep the wind out of his eyes, too. It's like he's a cheetah by look and action, but he's suceptable to the physical limitations, such as an adverse-reaction to "60 mile per hour winds in the eyes."
This is favorited, and, for what it means, i think it's a very, VERY well done piece, and even more so a very well-thought-out piece. The latter is somethign you see much less than the former.

Well to be honest, it was Blue Von himself that thought out the outfit design, but I added the goggles in. Figured something close to the classic aviator goggles would suit the rest of the outfit best, as it's kinda got that improvised look. As you said, at 60mph, it's good to protect your eyes.
I think i used cs3 a couple times on a campus computer just to understand photoshop... without permission ^^ even though nobody really cared at the time, but i bought the cheaper, less powerful apparently, elements version and it does pretty good
but i'm curious, how exactly does one get an image so clean, lines so crisp, and curves so round, while keeping colours so smooth? or would you rather not say? ^^

I'm (not entirely but fairly) sure that people don't run like that. At least, humanoids don't, or aren't supposed to. They'd want to extend the forward leg--not bend it. Equally daunting is that he's leaning his body way forward as he runs; which is sorta what people do to an extent, I think. But in my experience its not terribly practical, leaning forward to that extent, seeing as it only increases momentum and doesn't cause one to run all that much faster, while increasing the chances of falling on your face.
But I'm not an expert, so don't take my word for it!
The art is awesome as always. :)

Wow... Went back to look through your gallery and I just love the perspective of this piece... Amazingly well done expression aswell. The goggles are more than understandable too... I've taken a dragonfly to the eye at around 60 clicks on a bicycle before... It frigging HURTS! Looks amazing... Though in honesty I can't help but get a faint hint of Crazyfrog from it XD
