I'm glad that you've decided to take up this story, show me it when your done.
I assume that once it gets so big there is just no where it can stand without crushing somebody it will have telekinetic powers that will allow it to put forcefields around anything it might crush, or phase any damaging body parts out of the universe just a little bit, mental pick them up and move them out of the wave (perhaps on to its back as that will always be safe) or simply suck up and reincarnate the consciousness of anybody it smushes. Perhaps the trauma of accidentally killing someone is enough to unlock the unused proportions of its brain and ascend it to nigh godhood.

I'm working on it as we speak, i'm sort of uploading what I finish day by day.
I guess I could add tlekenetiks into it. I wanted to make it a little more down to earth though.

Yup I can do that. I envisioned "Cole" (what alex named the creature) to be a sort of predecessor to the dinosaurs he looks like. Of course Alex thinks it's a dinosaur, not having very in-depth knowledge on the subject.
The background story for Cole, is going to contain the fact that he is in a state of hyper-evolutionary growth, from having contact with Alex, whom he imprinted on. As you can tell from the little bit I have written, Cole's brain is developing at a fantastic rate.
