Heh heh, look who survived a flat-faced squishing. It takes more than a random keel over to stop Sweeney Todd (or so it seems). Lol!
You’ve heard the expression, if a job’s worth doing then it’s worth doing right. I felt this was worth doing (plus I really wanted to see Sweeney in colour). So, after reviewing the full extent of the damage, I sat down and started to re-work certain elements. I filed his nose back into shape (ouch), glued his tail and head back on, added the clump of hair that had come flying off in the oven, replaced his right arm and remade his ankles/shoes… popped him in the oven again (on his side this time), re-attached him to the base, gave him a splash of paint and voila! There he stands, a vicious vaudevillian villain. (Lol!)
Of course, now he’s mad at the whole treatment… so… it’s splat time for me. *fear*
I’m titling this ‘I’ll Polish You Off’ (original, I know). Ha ha, all’s well that ends well, yes? :) Bless you guys.
Note: FA will probably have to shrink this image, so there’s a link to the larger version on the DA submission: http://leopreston.deviantart.com/ar.....-Daaa-84433180 (Just click ‘download’).

Wow. Scary...
I just finished reading The String of Pearls. I have to say, I was never very fond of the unsubtle Victorian-era writing style (wherein every mood in the story is established by the author saying "this is scary!" or "this is happy!" in various flourishing sentences and big words). I have to say, though, that if it didn't operate on the higher emotions, it was certainly successful in making me hungry. Now I want to know where I can get delicious meat pies. I don't think I've ever seen them in real life... unless you count barbecue flavor Hot Pockets. But I'm so far from Hot Pockets, too...
Great. Now I'm talking like that.

"And well did they deserve their reputation, those delicious pies; there was about them a flavour never surpassed, and rarely equalled; the paste was of the most delicate construction, and impregnated with the aroma of a delicious gravy that defies description. Then the small portions of meat which they contained were so tender, and the fat and the lean so artistically mixed up, that to eat one of Lovett's pies was such a provocative to eat another, that many persons who came to lunch stayed to dine, wasting more than an hour, perhaps, of precious time, and endangering - who knows to the contrary? - the success of some lawsuit thereby."
Really, who can argue with that.
Also, I have deduced from the ending that Mark must be played by Charlton Heston. :P "Mrs. Lovett's pies are people!"

LOL! I found the following highly amusing...
" 'Quite well, thank you. Of course, you will take a pie?' Todd made a horrible face, as he replied, 'No, thank you; it's very foolish, when I knew I was going to make a call here, but I have just had a pork chop.' 'Had it the kidney in it, sir?' asked one of the lads who were eating cold pies. 'Yes, it had.' 'Oh, that's what I like! Lor' bless you, I'd eat my mother, if she was a pork chop, done brown and crisp, and the kidney in it; just fancy it, grilling hot, you know, and just popped on a slice of bread, when you are cold and hungry.' "
I can picture that in my mind... XD

Heh, heh. Yeah, those British... You never know what they'll consider delicious. "I'd eat my own mother, if she still had her kidneys in her." "But... doesn't she?" "By golly, you're right! Back in a jif."
Have you ever heard of a pork chop with a kidney in it? How would that even work?
