For some reason I can hear Lipe saying "Zan I'm pregnant!".

This is such a sweet image.

I've really taken a liking to Lipe, and even Zan (I'm gay, but there's just something about her... lol); this is just a nice cozy image.

To this day, it makes me happy to see people liking Lipe cuz, when I first designed him, I feared he was too generic for people to dig. n_n

np, and I understand why you'd feel that Lipe seems to generic for people to dig, but ... I dunno. I poured myself over some of your art today, and saw how the character evolved, and the situation he found himself in. There are plenty of stories around that people enjoy dealing with an everyday sort who gets spirited away into a lifestyle they never knew could be possible and yet there they are adjusting to the fantastic. Lipe underwent a bit of a personal transformation to let go of inhibitions, and put that everyday behind him. I feel a lot of folks who see Lipe, and see what you've done with him, are a little envious that this character can allow himself to enjoy the situation. Many of us probably feel that if we were in a similar situation we'd panic, and look for the first exit. Lipe embraced it.

There again, I may be romanticizing it all lol

My point is that Lipe overcame it all, and allowed himself to enjoy the fantasy. Something not everyone gets to do in life. And they see a character like Lipe, seemingly everyday, enjoying the fantasy as his reality ... they get to enjoy it vicariously through such a character.

That's where his appeal is.

I understood it the first time around, you were quite on target on what you wanted to say. ;3
I'm flattered cuz it is what I'm going for and what I want to express. Lipe's suppose to mirror me because of the need to conform to routine while my mind soars into the impossible with my drawings.
It's very therapeutic and not just fun.
I'm glad that there is an appeal for others there since I mostly draw for myself as it's my way to express things.

I don't have many words. This is beautiful. Not just the image but your outlook on it all.

Also, I really think you did a fantastic job differentiating the latex with the other fabrics on Lipe's outfit for this image. That is great attention to detail.

Latex's reflectiveness and texture is supposed to be different than what I do, but so far it works.
Latex is a funny thing as it can be smooth and reflective, matte like with more texture or inbetween.
The difficult thing is capturing reflectiveness since it should literally mirror the surroundings.
I can only emulate that to an acceptable degree and it's a way to discern one material from another.
