Hello Furry Musicians! Puppy here, giving you the much anticipated semifinal round in the contest I started in the New Year. This last month has been fantastic, with over 30 Musicians rising to the challenge and submitting-jointly-almost 60 songs! Not only was this beneficial to you, it was also beneficial to me, as it kept me preoccupied for this chilly Canadian January. It was really challenging figuring out who would make it into the semi-finals, as there is so much talent here, but it has been done, and that’s what the mix ahead is all about. Don’t forget to visit the poll and rate on which one you liked the most!
If you did not catch my recent journal, I’ve chose to not mention the song name, or the musician who made it, so that you, the voters, should choose purely on how much or how little you liked the songs. Additionally, if one of you fine furry folk figure out the name of one of the semi-final artists, please don’t share it with anyone… that would completely defeat the purpose of this round!

Seriously, though, I went back and re-read the New Year's post to interpret as much as possible from the brief rundown of the important part of the theme of this contest. And after about three passes through the mix, I was able to narrow down my selections based on the songs I felt were expressive enough to give me an idea of the composer behind them.
Best of luck to all of the finalists, and to the one who did the song that I eventually decided to vote for, congratulations for winning me over. :)
