He did not feel like he jived with the community, and also his life was getting busy and he was spending less time on the site, if I recall correctly.

Ah i see. From what i remember, he was a pretty nice guy too. Perhaps he'll return. I've been noticing people leave. Perhaps the site or the people is getting too crazy?

From what I can tell, the website is somehow getting less reliable (on a technical level), and people have developed on-site habits that are not conducive to creating a strong community (?). Its hard for me to make a good comparison, as I've been on and off for years.
