I do all of my animation in Toon Boom Studio, and it wasnt too hard, I've had alot of practice :)

I'm an animation student myself, But I don't have a lot of practice since I never found any program suggestions.

Definitely get Toon Boom and try it out, its VERY good especially if you're accustomed to traditional style animation. I highly recommend it :D

Yeah, I'm majoring in animation and hoping it wasn't a huge mistake.

Hmm it certainly looks nice, we've just started using digicel since pencil doesnt work on out mac OS apparently.
Might have to save up for it lol. And yessss traditional animation is my preference, some animations with bones and flash are really good, but I like me some frame by frame shenanigans.

Sweet, what school are you attending if you dont mind my asking? I graduated from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale myself.
I fell in love with animation the minute I learned how to do it and it is my preferred choice of art now (I can hardly illustrate still images without wanting to make them move anymore!)

But thats great! Give it a shot (and maybe get a hold of it anyway you can... you know... ) it is PERFECT for frame by frame animation, and its the only way I roll :D
