I am terribly, terribly prone to puns and plays on words. Usually either bad, obscure, convoluted or some combination of all three.
I'd been drawing the clan of Jamaican sheep for a bit when, during a lull in a stream, spomeone mentioned "Rastafarian sheep", and lacking anythign else to do, my mind started rolling the word "Rastafarian" around, and around until it popped up with "RATstafarian".
The rest of it just sort of ... happened ... her markings are my classic "splatter" type markings. Huge boobs just seemed a must. The Vespa /... I have no idea where the Vespa came from, I think I was initially going to draw a bicycle, except that I had the most delightful image pop into my mind of a cheery buxom islander rat zooming along bumpy dirt back roads, jiggling like mad, waving to everyone with a cheerful "Irie!" everywhere she goes.
