Another old painting. This one was Zenhi for Zenhi on DevianArt.

Another painting supposed to look like an old black and white photo. Zenhi was so kind to allow me to paint her dragon, to have some examples to present this as a type of commission. I tried to create a small story for this painting, based on what Zenhi told me about Zenhi. It is the moment, when the first bird arrived, after winter, back to the field where young Zenhi lived. (That's a confusing sentence ^^'')

I love reading a lot of back story about the characters I paint, and to think about stories around the painting. It just makes it difficult to price commissions. On some paintings I did spend 4 to 20 hours reading stories about the character and asking questions to the creator. If I asked people to pay for that, I would never get commissioned (x
