Mine never rejected outright, but it would get infected any time I travelled to a new state, bizarrely enough! So a few weeks ago I took it out and wrote it off as a, 'Hey, at least I got to experience this in my life' kind of thing e_e Sorry to hear yours went the same way D:

How was/is the nose one with healing? I've always been fond of septum piercings, but have a fear of getting a cold or something while it's healing, haha.

My nose piercing is doing great, actually. It's been healing very well, which I'm happy for. :P
I've been making sure to use a facial scrub/facial cleaner every day when I shower, it seems to keep it in check.

My eyebrow got to the point where the barbell outright was just a few days from falling out on it's own. You could see the barbell though the skin, it was THAT thin at that point. D:>

Ouch! Mine never got that bad.. but it would crust up all around the beads real bad, even after weeks of being calm and fully healed-looking.

Yeah, mine was near constantly painful and bright red...almost purple at times. It was super angry, no matter what I did. D:>

What's more strange, is that since I've had nothing but trouble healing my own piercings.. mine never rejected, though I worry about one of my nipples. I dunno if she mentioned it, but the whole mess would have been avoided had we asked for or replaced the stud with titanium.

Did they pierce with nickel or something shitty? I mean, were you having a reaction to the metal or something?

I was done with surgical stainless, but I've been hearing a lot of complaints whenever I'm in a piercing shop about a sharp rise reactions to stainless steel. Once I get my next paycheck, I'll be hitting the shop for new studs before I end up losing my right nippy stud. :/

I'm personally wondering if 'surgical stainless' is just another falsity of the marketing world for piercing jewelry. Surgical stainless steel is extremely high grade, and therefore very expensive, yet you can by 'surgical' grade online for a few bucks?! Something ain't right in that regard, especially when titanium is most often 2-5x more on the wholesale online stores. We all know we get what we pay for in this area of life.

That's why glass can be nice for new piercings, depending on where they are. Too bad it scratches phones, though :\ Haha, several weeks ago, I expressed my desire to find stone jewelry, since stone can be softer than glass and wouldn't fuck up my phone, and the piercer tried to convince me that even wood could cut glass..

Well, I think a bat could 'cut' glass quite nicely >.>

I'm personally scared of glass stuff since I'm always getting in the rough at my job [I'm a bather at a groomer in Bellevue now]. One bad hit, and I'm royally fuckzorzed.
