Great light. I like it!

I like just about any kind of wearable tech or magic items in fantasy/sci-fi settings, so this is right up my alley. I'm already coming up with some ideas as to what these gems do. If they are a source of energy, it would make sense that they would be mana power cells (I was about to write mana sinks, which would be an interesting idea in itself as a way to avoid expending too much magical power or dampen certain spells, quite possibly for archmages doing police work. But I digress), but why would a non-magic user like Three being wearing them if not to simply fit in? One idea is that this world is full of magic items or high tech, and these are ways of powering certain devices that are commonly held or to open doors. Maybe the gems contain codes that unlock certain doors, like the code cylinders Imperial officers wear in Star Wars. Maybe Three is in a society where energy forms the basis of their currency, if not the currency itself, so she's basically displaying her wealth to show that she's in a certain social class.

Geeeeeeen, I don't need more ideas for stories! I have enough that I'm not writing for!
