Synopsis: Taken place in the future of 2508, a young boy named Jake is separated from his family in a raid on their spacecraft and was sold off to an alien facility where they conducted experimental theories on young humans. One of which Jake was given, the idea of implanting more than one core into the human body. Cores were special devices that were built mostly for military use. Humans lacked any real powers. They were technologically advanced, but physically weak. Core technology gave humans special abilities that allowed them to fight head to head with most other physically advanced species. However, Cores emitted a strong energy, one that could be harmful to the human body. The boy was given the name, Subject Solus. He later lives on in torture with the experiments being done to him, having been the most successful experiment with two cores implanted in his shoulders and is known as deadly in combat. In his 19th year though, an opportunity of freedom comes when people make mistakes, and Subject Solus makes for his escape to live and survive as a completely new person. Thus begins his journey of how Subject Solus becomes the mercenary, Jake Solus.
