When a terrorist organization releases a biological weapon in East Asia, Crusader discovers that the biological weapon used technology he had invented to be used to help people. Believing that only he can undo the damage and save countless lives, he dons his Arctic Exploration Armor in order to search for the legendary and mythical Peaches of Hsi Wang Mu, also known as the Peaches of Immortality, hoping that the Peaches can be used to create a cure.
Racing against the clock, Crusader will have to battle numerous enemies, ranging from a Tibetan warlord with desires of godhood to a Chinese Communist radical general to a deranged Ahnenerbe archaeologist to religious zealots dedicated to keeping the Peaches out of mortal hands to wild animals to harsh blizzards that will test even his new armor's systems to the mythological yeti to sacred guardian warriors invulnerable to all weapons guarding the Palace of the Lady of the Western Heaven located somewhere in the high mountains of K'un Lun in western China.
This armor will appear in a future story (actually a novel) titled Crusader: Mountain of Immortal Peril. It includes his usual weapons and technologies, but also has a laser torch and an emergency flamethrower, as well as enhanced sensors that come in handy when fighting ravenous yetis while standing on the edge of a precarious ledge during a blizzard.

Well, the Yetis here are in fact guardians, but they don't care who you are, as they attack all those who trespass an ancient and ruined monastery/temple located in Qin Mountains, near Mount Hua. And thus the yetis will attack all those who dare seek the relic: an ancient device that will show the way to the Palace of the Western Heaven.
Ah, the sense of wonder from the Golden and Silver Ages of Comics. Besides, each of the villains represents one of the past ages: the warlord, the Iron Age; the Ahnenerbe archaeologist, the Golden Age; the Communist general, the Silver Age. Crusader represents the Modern Age of Comics.
