That looks pretty nice! It's great to see a tail like that which doesn't hang limply... it sticks out a bit on a 'tailbone' ...much more realistic i think. Minus the purple at least :P (but purple is GOOD!!)

Can you lay on your back while wearing it? I couldn't with mine, it was the drawback of having an erect tail :-/

Ah... It hangs a bit on that foto because I have worn it all day. ^^; I work on that! The bases of the tail is a demon-tail, which is not made by myself but can be ordered by maskworld.com the think is bendable and stays in the direction you bend it - I baought some artifical hair in the colors of my fursona's and tied it around the root of the tail... the only problem is that the hair falls straight down (gravity) and if I erect the tail a bit more, you can see the basic foam tail because it is 60cm long - as is the hair.
I hope I could explain that reasonably. ^^; (bad bad english)
I can lean back, but the foam tail is in my way - and I don't want to cut it down because it was rather expensive. But I decided to try to copy the foam-tail and make one myself. Now I have one and can try that, but It won't be easy... I will make a short foam tail which resembles only the original tail-root and then everything should be just perfect!

Another option is to tie the hair around the foam tail with hairbands - but then it can't swing naturally and fluffy - well the foam tail dies swing when I walk, very nicely, but it's not the natural way a horsetail swings.

ah... it's both shades of purple. ^^; My hair is a reddish purple because it was the only purple available and the tail matches the mane- and tail-color of my fursona. ^^; a blue-ish purple.
