I did this for a friend of mine on Livejournal. She's been having a hard time with school, real life, and even over the internet. I felt bad for her, so I drew this up. I've actually had the idea for it in my mind for a long time, but it took till now to actually draw it to the way I liked how it looked.
A real nickname everyone calls her is Duckie, which is why I chose the duck to resemble her, and she's a real bellydancer. So I figured everything would fit! I also tried to make her actual skirt, but she has no pictures, so I improvised and what little reference was offered to me. I could have done better on the skirt, but overall I'm happy with it. Especially the wings.
Sterotypical yellow with orange beak and feet duck colouring. I couldn't get too detailed with the shading and all because I'm impatient with using a mouse. I need a tablet.. >>"
