While in yet another art stream, the discussion came up on how snakes and mermaids would wear diapers. And while there are plenty of diapered snakes on FA, a search turned up zero mermaids wearing diapers.
LittleMonsterz decided that he was up for the challenge of putting a mermaid in a diaper, so I gave him my recently-turned mermaid Erika to regress into diapers. It turned out pretty dang cute. =3

So, the question has come up whether Erika being a mermaid is now canon. I like to think of our characters as living outside canon. It allows us to have fun with transformative stuff and tall tales without accidentally putting us into a situation we regret. In other words, it's canon while it's convenient for storytelling. For now, yeah, Erika's turned into a mercoon, and she'll probably stay that way until she decides to not be. But overall, the only true canon is that we're twin dracoons living at an orphanage.
