Silencers are fighters, which have dedicated their death to the fight against the Shadows. Silencers are there to keep the Shadows at bay, so that they don’t kill too many Souls.
Even they are already dead, and were recalled back to the world of the dead. They don’t live in special places like the Shadows. They have for example their own houses in cities or they live alone in a house somewhere out in a forest. But they have special territories where they are responsible for. Of course, there is sometimes more than one Silencer group responsible for a part of land.
Silencers are chosen from the Head of Death, Shodai Komoyo, too.
Some of the Silencers become a “Master of the Silence”. They are able to absorb a Mobian’s soul or memory. They will disappear or slowly lose their memory of their life, if they don’t absorb enough soul-energy or memory.
Silencers don’t olden anymore when they’ve reached the age of a 25. They can make themselves visible for the living Mobians and they would also be able to live a normal life like before their death.

The Head of Silence is Nagare Kijin, the older brother of Rikugo, which is the head of the Shadows on his part. The attractive, but unfortunately blind guy decides about which Silencer group will be responsible for which part of Mobius. If someone has a wish, he mostly grants it.
