Part 2/2 of a commission for
Whimlet , this part an epic scene of his scalesona, perched on a cliffside and checking out the terrain outside his warm cave home.
Dang, I've been loving these pic pieces lately - I'm so happy with how this one turned out! His pose is really powerful, and I'm real happy with how the background turned out. I wanted to give the stone surfaces a very slick, icy texture and look, and I also love all the snow and wintry details I added, (my favourite being that gust blowing behind the rock he's on - see all that mist and those tiny snowflakes? :D )
