My coyote, Tannis, had befallen some deadly fate that sent him to the afterlife. But that journey took a surprising turn when his soul was found and caught by a young demon, who wants to keep him as a pet. So, here he is, showing off his coyote to his parents, asking if he can keep him. :D
I love the way this came out. The expression on the young demon is priceless, and Tannis looks adorable with that sweatdrop, as he looks up at the youth's demonic parents. The shadows of cast upon them beautifully captures that ominous feel of a decision being made.
I like to imagine that Tannis knows that if the parents disapprove, they might simply obliterate his soul with a blast of hell fire, telling their son to not bring such filthy animals around anymore. So it's in his best interest to look as if he's a friendly soul who would make a nice pet for their son. Heh.
My thanks to Rhiannon for taking this commission and doing such an amazing job with it.
