The Telstar Class Super Scout is another design I came up with. She is based upon the modified hull of a Abbe Class Torpedo / PT Destroyer. The USS Telstar's NCC registry number is 71062 (the launch date of the Telstar Satellite, July 10, 1962).

Read the description. She is a Super Scout (aka a heavy scout) that was built on the modified frame of a torpedo destroyer.

With a nomenclature like Telstar, I knew this hull was either a scout or a comm support vessel.
And how clever of you, to use the "current" Starfleet trick of five-digit commission numbers to your advantage.
