Suddenly, the eyes turned towards you. Not menacing, but full of power. You can imagine the body, mind and soul those eyes portray, and how they seem to stare directly through your soul. A most basic stare--able to move deftly through the conscious of our minds and make a connection with our primal beings. They instill fear, but at the same time, an understanding.

# Speaking straight from myself, this is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken. Years later, I can still feel the power of that lion through those eyes. I urge you to look beyond the picture, beyond the pixels, and let those eyes connect with you.
