Alot of thought has been going into this for a long time, but I finally came up with a pokemon I wanted for a pokesona. his colouration doesn't come from being any special kind of shiny or anything like that. It's more like a winter coat.

tests have shown that some breeds of cats (mainly cats of a 'pointed' colouration such as Siamese and himalayan cats) gave genes that change their coat colour if the temperature drops for a long period of time (eg. -5 degrees or less for several weeks). Ark grew up in the mountains and so has a more snow camouflaged coat. if left long enough without exposure to the cold, the more familiar cream pink colouration will return.
