I wanted to do this hehe. You're not the only one who ever thought Celestia must have a stash of strange and perverse magic (or at least an awareness that such exists). They use magic to control the sun for Pete's sake. Compared to that, would a pregnancy spell really be so strange?
Could be she has such a spell like that because she wants to be reborn anew. Might explain why she worked so feverishly to train a new princess, why she has a pet phoenix, etc. Might also simply be that no stallion on Earth could mate her without breaking his pelvis trying so her only chance of being a mother is through artificial insemination (or the magical equivalent of such).
