Another team for the  PokeCombatAcademy


The original team consisted of Team leader Inara Wysong, 2nd in command Eric Zarrin, tactician Shina Serrin, and combat support Kyle Weston. The team was well noted for their teamwork and cooperation until Kyle had a change in mind and of form. Kyle Weston’s evolution from the timid and easy going Kabuto, into the egotistical and self-centered Kabutops changed everything. Kyle began to act more on impulse rather than reason, which lead to quite a bit of internal conflict within the team, both verbally and physically. Aside from Kyle’s horrendous change in demeanor was a more pressing matter, Inara’s decline in performance both in and out of the field.
When questioned, Inara reassured her teammates and others that it was nothing to worry about. Yet her performance continued to decline, and at times, she would take days off from school, forcing the team to skip out on several events, which only irritated Kyle even more. Eventualy, Kyle’s rage was too much for him to contain and he lashed out on a new transfer student and shortly after that, Shrina, for trying to intervene, prompted Inara to take drastic actions. She confronts Kyle, demanding that he change his ways now, or be removed from the team. Kyle’s response was far from unexpected as he lashed out at Inara. Despite her condition, the weakened Marowak swiftly disposes of reckless Kabutops and disbands Kyle from the team later the same day.
The next day, neither Inara nor Kyle were seen or heard of. About a week later, Sara Dreyton, the very student Kyle had assaulted came to Shrina with a letter from addressed by Inara. The letter stated that with a heavy heart and best wishes, Inara had deemed herself no longer capable of leading the team any further and appoints Shrina as the new team leader and the transfer student as her replacement. It was only a few days later after receiving the letter that Shrina discovered that Inara’s decline in performance was brought about by her decline in health. The change in command and turn of events left Team Sandstream in a very unstable mindset. After recruiting an eager, yet still slightly immature Marcus Gaer to fill in Kyle’s position, the team manages to move on and mend the damage to the team’s record. The reformed team is dealt yet another wild card when both Sara and Shrina evolved shortly after their first team battle since Inara’s departure.
