Yeng: Chris, you know the truth. You don't need friends at all.
Chris: why you say that?!!
Yeng: I said it before to you, your friends might just be talking about how weird you are. The way you talk, the way you look, and the way you think.
Chris: no...they wouldn't.
Yeng: Again of being naive, Chris.... When will you ever learn that when you've become their friend you'll only be a THORN to their sides.
# way....
Yeng: Think about it Chris, one day in the future when you're in trouble, your friend won't be there to help you at all. If that happens, then who'll you depend on?
Chris:........
Yeng: You're gonna have to depend on yourself no matter what happens. Your friends won't be there to help you at all.
Chris: but....but i though friends were to -
Yeng: FRIENDS? There is no such thing as true friends chris! One day, they'll forget about you and they'll go on with their lives, no matter how close you are to them. You and them are going to have to go on with your separate paths.
# way....
Yeng: Chris...don't you see? Do you ever see successful people have friends? i mean c'mon take a look at the business world for example. In that world of today, workers and employers don't rely on friends anymore. They rely on themselves to get their asses out of the hell hole just to make enough to live.
Chris:........
Yeng: Face it, you might as well save yourself from depression and forget about your friends and stop making anyway.
# couldn't do that....
Yeng: stop it while you still have the chance now chris, so you won't feel any pain and sorrow to your feelings. If you don't stop, you'll feel even more confused and depressed!
# just can't....
Yeng: What a weak fool.....You need to forget about your friends.
#
Yeng: C'mon chris, you can do better than that.
#
Yeng: You're going to hurt yourself more if you keep that foolishness up.
Chris:...shutup!
Yeng: Do it chris, its the only way to save your feelings!

Well, since I'm on here I might as well comment again.
Grammatical errors aside, the "Yeng" character seems... indecisive in his development. At first glance he's just the stereotypical "negative side" character, the manifestation of all the aspects of ourselves or things that we've done which we perceive as bad. He speaks to the protagonist in ways that make him question himself, yet unlike most nega-characters, Yeng seems to speak the truth once in a while (albeit half-truths). Mixed-in with scathing doubts, the character seems near justifiable due to his mismatched inclusions of partial yet otherwise true facts regarding general quirks of life.
So is he some sort of illusory gentleman: one that would just as soon rob you blind after rescuing your baby sister? Or is it because of Yeng's symbiotic relationship with Chris that he must borrow elements from the benevolent aspects of Chris in order to keep the balance of good and evil, thus creating a character that is sort of neutral-good while the darker half leans more towards neutral-evil?
