Here's my sea monster in his full glory, I decided to name him Valeritus, Valé for short.
Leviathan was the name he was born with, but he doesn't want to use it and be compared to the other princes of hell. He was born more monstrous than demonic and so couldn't really live like them.

Valé doesn't always look where he gets to the surface, he doesn't think there's much need and this is why things like this happen. Boats get tipped over or Jett just parked in the wrong place.
