Okay, basically Read or Die centered around Yomiko Readman, a girl with brilliant powers over paper, shaping it, wielding it as a weapon, even a stint of creating a MASSIVE paper aeroplane to take part in a dogbattle XD!!

Then there came the TV series, which was more centered around the three characters you see here, Maggie (Librarian/butler kinda gal there), Michelle (With the long frizzy curls x3) and Anita (The unfortunate one of this pic with the cast...)

However, the manga they brought out for these three, was IMMENSELY different, instead titled Read or Dream, which so far hasn't included Yomiko as the series did, intended as more of a gag comic or feelgood comic compared to Read or Die's action and drama :3

In volume 2, Anita has to face a challenge without her sisters, and she has this dream sequence of failing, her sisters abandoning her, when she falls to the ground, suddenly unable to walk, as her leg begins to crack before her eyes, and finally, shatters!

I had to wonder, since in the series, Anita had this fear of fire because of an incident in their past, if they're linking it again, something that might have happened and she'd broke her leg or was unable to walk as a result...

Or maybe I'm reading too far in XD

Anywhoo, I'm really proud of Anita, so-so with Michelle, and not too pleased with Maggie xP

They're all great, fun characters to work with however, and I'd heavily recommend getting into the series, whichever way you wanna start ^_^
