I hand carved this walking stick out of a small tree that was removed from my neighbors yard when they were fixing some underground pipes.

The top part of it is the root system of the tree, so it actually upside down to how it had grown. All the details you see were added to the smooth surface with the use of a small knife, a dremel tool, and lots of imagination. I let the wood dictate how it was carved as some places were softer and carved easily and others were more dense and resisting being carved.

I have used this with the wizard/ sorceress outfit when I take Dreamfinder out to the local medieval fair in Tampa, FL.
