This is a really great icon. :D The subtle shading works very well at the small scale.

Although I gotta admit its blown out of the water by the one you have at the moment! Very Graphic!
But yeah, I was experimenting with a few different ideas for them, and this look and style with the half tone pattern and the blur worked best.

I do really enjoy your icon, though, I hardly noticed that halftone pattern. How it changes...that's really fun to look at. :O
