This pic started as nothing more than a doodle during a moment of boredom.
I was waiting for the bus and, since I had plenty of time, I went into a bar for a coffee.
While I was waiting I started to draw some sketches, just for improving my style you know but then I got the right inspiration and I started drawing a specific subject.

My idea was basically this; sometimes ago I asked  NightCrestComics information about one of his creation, a particular type of creature known as feastbeast.
He explained to me that basically feastbeast are creatures who are the most powerful eaters in Gurume's world, the real living embodiment of hunger and gluttony.
Among the other things he explained to me that, despite his amazing appetite, Gurume is not a feastbeast.
And frankly I thought to myself: "Well that's good. Gurume is already quite a insatiable glutton. If he would become a feastbeast there is no telling how powerful and HUNGRY he could get"!
So then I had this inspiraiton of drawing this pic. It's something like of a "what if" pic. I mean a pic that tries to depict what would happen if Gurume would turn into a feastbeast.

So, I can't tell exactly how Gurume did become a feastbeast, maybe he was fighting with a feastbeast and he has been bitten (feastbeast can turn other individuals into feastbeasts by biting them, like werewolves) or maybe he has eaten a feastbeast who knows).
Anyway, during the three days required for a being to turn into a feastbeast, Gurume has eaten such a huge amount of food that when the transformation has been completed he has become an entirely new kind of feastbeast, much more powerful and much more hungrier than "normal" feastbeasts, in other words a feastbeast king!

Perhaps in the future I'll work to improve this pic. For the moment I hope you will like this simple scanning of the doodle. I'll move int soon into scraps.
