Jamu's journies eventually brought her back to the port city of Ifford. As she and her companions were in the area, they decided to stop by to see how Renris and TJ were doing.
"Hey, Jamu!" exclaimed TJ. "It's great to see you again!"
Renris rolled out from underneath a large, capsule-like object. His face covered in dirt and oil.
"Hey!" he cheered as he took to his feet. "You're just in time!"
"In time for what?" asked Jamu.
TJ smiled, took the hamster's hand, and lead her towards the capsule.
"In time to try our greatest achievement!"
Jamu gasped.
"Hold it right there, kid!" boomed Ossy. "There's no way you're putting Lady Jamu into some strange device!"
Ossy's voice startled TJ. He then looked to Jamu for protection from her burly companion.
"Sir," said Renris. "I assure you that we have nothing but Jamu's best intentions in mind."
"By tossing her into some strange capsule that two kids still in diapers built!" growled Ossy.
"Sir!" exclaimed Renris. "I assure you that you, too, would wear a diaper if you put as much effort into making the world's greatest inventions!"
TJ nodded.
"That's not the point!" exclaimed Ossy. "Your manners are far below par and I do not appreciate the way you are treating Lady Jamu!"
Renris felt nervous as he moved his hand, in which was holding his enchanted wrench, behind his back.
"I'm sorry," he said. "TJ and I are just very excited to finally see our many months of labor finally come to fruition."
"What's that?" asked Apollo.
"Time travel," replied TJ with a smile.
Jamu looked at the capsule and thought for a moment.
"Time travel?" she asked.
"Yes," grinned Renris. "We built a Time Machine!"
"And you want Lady Jamu to be your guinea pig?" Ossy asked sternly. "No way!"
"Well," said Renris. "We tried to get it to work a few times ourselves. However, a voice keeps calling out 'Jamu, I await Jamu.'."
"What?" asked Jamu.
"All our research has yet to uncover why a voice calls out for you from within the 'Time Capsule'," stated TJ.
Ossy made his way towards TJ and Jamu.
"That so called 'research' is as good as what goes into your diapers!" he proclaimed. "Pure crap!"
Apollo lowered his head and sighed.
"So much for a pleasant visit," he said.
Ossy reached for Jamu's arm.
"You don't need to listen to this, my lady," he said. "C'mon before these children try to use us all as their living playthings."
"Wait," said Jamu while knocking back Ossy's hand. "I sense something."
Jamu faced the capsule and could honestly feel a force drawing her towards it. It seemed inviting and very determined for her to go inside.
"I'm doing it," she said.
"But!" cried Ossy.
Jamu faced Ossy and gave him a look that made him know she would not be talked out of it.
"Something is telling me I need to go in," she said. "Like there is something in it that I must know."
TJ ran over to open the hatch of the capsule.
"Don't worry," assured Renris. "We've taken every precaution in making it so the space and time continuum is not adversely affected through anyone's usage of the machine."
Ossy picked Renris up by the scruff of his neck.
"For your sake," he growled. "You better be right, or your diapers may be finding themselves filled with your life blood!"
Renris gulped as he was flung to the ground.
"Was that necessary?" asked Apollo.
"Lady Jamu is a Princess!" boomed Ossy. "She saved my life and I have vowed to forever be her faithful guard until the end of my days!"
"Still," added Apollo.
Ossy glared at the young conure and, with that, the conversation ended.
TJ helped Jamu into the capsule before giving her a quick lesson on all the safety switches that were built into it in the event things went wrong.
"Are you ready?" he asked.
"Yes," Jamu confidently replied. "Let's do this!"
Renris toddled over and, with the aid of his enchanted wrench, powered up the machine.
"Good luck," said TJ as he gently closed the hatch.
HELL FROZEN RAIN: (Part 1 of this story goes up to 1:35 in this song)

The inside of the capsule was pitch black. However, just as the young ones had mentioned, a voice called out from within the apparent void.
"Jamu Brightwing," it said. "I've been expecting you."
"Who are you?" asked Jamu as she tried to search the darkness for the source of the voice.
"I am the Goddess of Time," she replied. "Your friends have thought of you much since you brought them together. They speak of your pain and I feel it is time to ease your mind by showing you the events in which lead you to where you are today."
Jamu didn't know what to say. However, the darkness soon was replaced with what appeared to be the outside of Castle Bennet.
"What?" wondered Jamu as she watched her mother and father part ways. "Mom!"
"She can't hear you," the Goddess replied.
The scene changed again and Jamu watched as her mother now stood side-by-side with her father. They seemed very happy. Avis then gestured forward and Ham-Ham dashed forward into what was soon shown to be a battlefield.
"MOM!" cried Jamu as she scowled towards her father who was simply standing there. "How could you!"
The scene changed again. This time, her father was seen holding a sword to the neck of who she knew to be former King Justice. Her mother soon entered the room in tattered armor that was accented with blood stains.
"Mom?" asked Jamu with disbelief.
"Your mother murdered no one," assured the Goddess.
"But?" asked Jamu.
"Your mother, Hamu, had faith in your father, Avis Brightwing, to bring about a better life for the people of Bennet."
"That's not possible!" cried Jamu. "How could my mom see anything in that horrible man!"
The scene switched to show the Royal Bedroom as it once was. Avis was staring at a book with a bleak look as Ham-Ham stood alongside him.
"Your anger clouds your vision," stated the Goddess.
Jamu watched as Avis said some words to her mother and made his way out of the room.
The scene changed again. However, it changed very quickly from showing a frightening ritual where Avis added his blood to a mixture while apparently chanting a spell. It then showed a scene where her father had pinned a strange creature in a green robe to a tree before getting in a big fight with a number of individuals. Finally, Jamu was presented the throne room where Avis and Ham-Ham stood together before a trio of interesting characters.
"Your father fell victim to "The Grimoire of Ennui'," stated the Goddess. "He felt it's magic would allow him to gain the power to revitalize Bennet's war-torn country. However, as it did with past rulers, it corrupted his soul and all Ham-Ham could do was do what what she could to keep the good man she valued from fulling giving in to the book's dark magic."
"That's even more reason why my father is at fault for my mom's demise!" growled Jamu. "Why ever would my mom do all she did for such an awful individual who did nothing but cause pain and suffering?"
"Because she loved him," said the Goddess. "And he loved her."
A new area appeared before Jamu. In it, the mysterious trio from the previous moment in time, her mother, and her father were fighting against a dragon-like creature, two baby dragons, and a purple squirrel who wielded a sword unlike any she had ever seen.
"What's this?" asked Jamu upon noticing how her father's color had changed from the color she knew to an eerie, greenish-blue. His eyes burning red as he pummeled the dragon.
"He's going to kill him!" cried Jamu.
As Avis was about to slay the dragon, she watched her mother take her enchanted, glow sticks and hurl them towards Avis. This distracted him for just long enough for the dragon to impail her father through the chest with his spear.
"What?" gasped Jamu as she watched her father slip to the ground. He was mortally wounded and her mother was sobbing over him. Then, from out of nowhere, a little duck in a blue diaper waddled up, raised a card, and seemingly captured Avis within it before disappearing itself.
"I…," said Jamu. "What?"
"Just as I am the Goddess of Time," stated the Goddess. "There are demi gods who roam your world. This one being the Dingus Duck. It controls Purgatory and gives trials to those of ill will to see if they are worthy of returning to this world, or being sent to the depths of Hell."
Jamu was silent as the world around her changed again. This time, she saw her mother slicing her finger and allowing her blood to cover a magicite box.
"Mom?" asked Jamu.
"Knowing of the evil 'The Grimoire of Ennui' was capable of, your mother made a pact with 'The One God'. Through her life force, Hamu would be able to deny the demons who had created the book any further ability to do harm to anyone ever again."
Jamu was still in disbelief as she was shown a very bizarre scene where, in the Royal Bedroom, Hamu was awakened in her sleep by the Dingus Duck waddling in and holding a card out in front of her. A light shined from it and, soon after, Avis Brightwing was lying weak, yet alive, on the floor.
"What is this?" asked Jamu.
"Your father spent an entire year in the world of the Dingus Duck. Here, he was often tempted towards evil, but he fought it and, for that, he was given life again."
Jamu watched as Avis and her mother embraced. Their eyes welling up with tears of joy as the Dingus Duck used one of its own cards to disappear back into its world.

Interesting. For some reason the way it was written makes it hard to follow, but so far it was still an interesting story. The story so far reminds me of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, where it's revealed that Ike's father went berserk after touching a magic medallion that takes the worst of a person, brings it out and intensifies it. Only certain people can touch it without the effects, and he wasn't one of them. As a result, he killed his own wife who was trying to save him from it. She managed to take it from him, as it didn't effect her, but was killed before he came to and realized what he had done, but she smiled and forgave him.
That's a most, touching story. Makes me wish I had the opportunity to play it. The way you wrote that all out was quite, mentally visible and I was very moved and could feel the emotions, both good and bad.
The story will be hard to follow as it is extremely segmented. I never had any intentions on writing a 3rd Creative Campaign. However, as I get inspiration, I throw in a little story here-and-there to bring the overall tale a step closer to having more closure than the Epilogue found at the end of Creative Campaign 2.
Put simply, Jamu learned that her mother sacrificed herself to save her wretched father. So, she stole her mother's armor and glow sticks and ran away from Bennet. She vowed to never return.
Being alone, she sought purpose away from the nation her father ruled with what she felt was a tainted wing. Along the way, she meets....
* Apollo, an aspiring conure who idolizes her father
* Aura, who I botched in writing, but she does a lot of "mysterious" sneaking away to assassinate people to make money
* TJ, who is a child prodigy within a neglected, fishing village
* Renris, an aspiring inventor who teams up with TJ
* Ossy, who falls in love with Jamu shortly after she saves his life
Other story points are really wide open. TJ and Renris invented the "Time Machine" that is actually a way to communicate with "The Time Goddess" who shows Jamu how and why her mother did what she did. Jamu is having a hard time dealing with what she is seeing, because her mother seems to, of her own free will, do what Avis says and sees them sharing emotion.
The next part will complete the back story. It will teach Jamu that "Love" and "Faith" is what made her mother do what she did and that, truly, her father isn't the monster she thinks him to be. Rather, he just made A LOT of bad choices that he not only mentally regrets, but also bears across his body for his feathers are eternally dyed in the shade of the great Nishidor's cloak. Avis also has nightmares nearly ever night of Nishidor, the planeswalker he killed, walking through a forest calling out, "Thanks!". Avis sees this as mental torture, but it is actually a part of Nishidor that seeks his fellow, planeswalking friend who goes by the name, "Thanks".
I hope this made it all a little less confusing. Creative Campaign is more experimental writing, but with a tween-themed, fantasy touch. :)

Ah, it sounds like a really complex story, but sometimes those make the most interesting ones. I can see how this story ties in to that! I've only read bits and pieces of it, so putting it all in one place helps it make sense.
I also forgot to mention, I loved this line: ""I assure you that you, too, would wear a diaper if you put as much effort into making the world's greatest inventions!""
It actually made me think of a character from Pokemon, Clemont. His outfit is basically a onsie, and he's an inventor. My headcanon of him is that he wears diapers, so I could completely imagine him saying that. Actually it made me feel inspired to draw something about that, using that line as inspiration. Of course, only if you don't mind. (Also if I drew it, I probably wouldn't post it here so I'd just show you with a link or something)

*Blush* Yeah, I need to add this story to the post on my page that is my "Featured Post". It is a picture that
Wingedhamham did for me and it is the MASTER LINK to everything relating to the Further Realms: Creative Campaign. I'll do that after I finish replying to you to help ensure others, who may be interested, can see the hundreds of pages of work that this story series really is. :)
I'm glad you found inspiration in that line, too! It's like you and I are playing a game of tennis with inspiration! You gave me Hell Frozen Rain and I gave you a fun line that reminded you of a Clemont that has you ready to do some arts! Awesome!
You need not ever ask me permission to borrow anything I post here, Skye. I write to share and inspire and, most of all, have good times with wonderful people, like you. Any idea I have is always up for grabs if it makes you feel a desire to be creative. :)
I also would like to thank you for your kind words and thoughtfulness via the Shouts yesterday. I hope I don't ever come off too whiny. I just know it is good for mental health to at least write out your feelings. I am doing a whole lot better now thanks to just putting that journal together.
Right now, I'm having a rough time getting in touch with my therapist. Going to see her is not easy and I am trying to get her to do phone sessions. However, the dude at the place I go is being snail man and not helping me much to make it happen. I'm way overdue to have a "Talk".
I hope you are well and, moreover, I want to apologize if I've missed any journals worth nothing. I'm falling behind with all that has happened in the past week. Between eye doctors and my son's birthday this weekend, time just isn't much on my side. *Shrug* Next week will be better. :)
If I do miss anything you'd like me to see, please link me. If I'm linked, I make the effort to check it as a priority and it is easier than sifting through backlog. :)
Lastly, I would very much like to see that drawing when you finish it. :) Please send me the link when you are done.

That's a good idea! Also, you don't come off whiny at all. Journals are meant for venting and everything you talk about are real and serious problems, you should never feel like you're whining. You are pretty much the least whiny person I know. No one should ever make you feel like you don't have the right to talk and vent about your issues. You've gone through more in short periods of time than most people go through their whole life and you still manage to find joy in life.
I've made several journals but none of them are really about my own life which has been pretty uneventful so far thankfully. I did make some about some of my favorite video game music, so I could link you to them if you ever want to listen to some songs. I actually included Hell Frozen Rain in one of them too.
I hope everything goes well. or at least, better than they have been.

That sounds great! I'd love to hear some more of your musical recommendations. Perhaps I'd even find a few more for my iPod? :)
Thanks for all your support, Skye. I always think of you when I am digging for strength. The fact you, too, have been through so much, yet keep on plugging away, is super inspirational. I promise we will always be a team in putting the "Ability" into disability. :)

There's quite a lot in there but if you want to take the time to listen to them here they are. At the top I linked a playlist of all the songs to listen to them more easily, except the last one where there are only a few so I felt it was unnecessary. There will be more to come too.

I am glad I got to find another way to bring TJ into the story arc. I had always intended to. However, the muse only recently hit me so that your character and Renris could do what needed to be done.
The whole "Time Capsule" was in my head for a long time. Your refs to "Dr. Who" inspired that. The execution needed some Hell Frozen Rain, though, to get my muse going. :)
