This begs a question... If Sapphire Shores is supposed to be this big famous pop star how come nobody ever talks about her on the show? On a different note Flim and Flam had the better act and song.

Presumably, for the same reason that nobody in Manehattan recognized the recently-coronated ALICORN PRINCESS trying to get a taxicab, and the same reason why none of the Mane Six seem to have any recognition or social prestige despite having saved Equestria's collective bacon from Celestia's old boyfriends a half-a-dozen times over by now.

I dunno. If Manehattanites are supposed to represent folks from NYC I'd believe that that reaction is probably some what accurate. The main characters unfortunately aren't going to get any sort of social prestige if they don't act like they have social prestige. It doesn't mean you have to be rude but, it does mean using your influence to achieve certain desired outcomes and maybe carrying yourself just a bit like you are something important. I think Rarity may be the only one who has done that to some degree though that may just be limited to the fashion world. I don't know anything about anyone's boyfriends though I assume that's beyond the scope of what the show has covered.

"Celestia's old boyfriends" is a sarcastic reference to Discord, Sombra, and all the other sealed-evils-in-a-can that keep popping up at inconvenient times.

It certainly seems at times that is what some fanfic writers suggest!

Ahhh, good ol' Warrant. Great band, and they knew how to do a concert.

Ah, the memories. I fucking loved the hell out of this song when it was on the radio. Every time it came on I cranked the stereo. Also one of my favorite songs on Guitar Hero. x3

I caught them in concert twice. Once with Poison (amazing show), and another time with Firehouse and Trixter.

Oh it was.. It was right around when Poison came out with "Unskinny Bop". Amusingly, this was over in Milwaukee, and during that same night, Ice Cube was doing a concert at the venue across the street. Suffice to say, you could tell who was going to what show, by not even a glance. :>
