This is Ayumu, a new character of mine, which I believe is Japanese for 'twilight'.
Ayumu is an oni, well more half oni, which explains his tail. His other half some kind of spirit but I haven't figured out his full details for his background yet.

Ayumu grew up with other oni but he was still young when his mother took him away to keep him away from his father who had started to show signs of being crazy in the head. The father chased after them to try and reclaim Ayumu, but his mother took him into the forest and into the care of one of the embodiments that lived in the forest.
Ayumu grew up with his 'master', and unlike other oni, he grew to be more peaceful, rather avoiding conflict when he can, but at the same time he was still a skilled fighter, being rather strong despite his appearance, you have to be careful around him if he gets really angry.
Ayumu started to have an affinity for nature and the natural world, becoming a gardener when not in battle and actually learning more druid-like skills for battle.

Ayumu proved a little difficult at first, but after some playing around I finally found a good design for him I really liked. The main colors for him were influenced by WoW when I made him a night elf druid.
Overall, I'm very happy with how this turned out.
