What a wonderful winter drink. Hop into some hot chocolate from the kitchens of
otaconxix
Fall is here, and winter is right around the corner, my 2 favorite seasons. One of my favorite things about it is dusting off the tea kettle and whippin' up some hot drinks, hot chocolate being my fave. But if you're like me, then you hate the watery instant cocoa packets. So here's a quick trick to make it taste 10 times better.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: (Serving size for one large cup)
1 coffee cup
Boiling water (preferably from a tea kettle. If you don't own a tea kettle, I'm so sorry)
1 packet of instant hot chocolate (I used Nestle rich milk chocolate)
1/4 cup Hershey's chocolate syrup
a splash of coffee creamer (preferably French vanilla, white chocolate mocha, or Irish cream)
marshmallows
Instructions
STEP 1:
Start by boiling the water in your tea kettle.
STEP 2:
When water is done, add to cup only half way. Then add the packet of instant hot chocolate and stir. Filling half way will make for easier stirring and breaking apart powder chunks. Next add Hershey's chocolate and creamer, stir again.
STEP 3:
Fill the rest of the cup up with more boiling water almost to the very top, stir one more time. Top with marshmallows on top and enjoy. Let cool a bit first though.
