Here is another a Sci Fi Transformation story featuring my "Neo Mythical" species concept, specifically NeoDragons. This story stands on its own, but is intended to be read after A Brand Neo Day which does a better job to introduce the "NeoMythical" concept for those who are unfamilliar.
This story is an exploration of a Neo's duality in being a blend of biologic and synthetic life and the consequences of Neos being able to magically split themselves into their component synthetic and biologic halves. While BND was a fun romp, "Split Decision" is a highly serious character piece that dives deep into what it would be like to have one individual that is created from the merger of two others.
I have also posted the story to Shifti for those who prefer reading HTML.

-Plot Blurb- (May ruin some surprises)
While producing an "extreme" stunt video, the biologic half of the NeoDragon Vormanx is killed in a tragic accident. The Mech-Half is left behind and must decide if he should even bother to try and replace what he lost and resurect the Neo Voremanx or simply live the rest of his days alone. When Mech Vormanx finds what he believes to be his new soulmate is it the hand of fate or wishful thinking that is too good to be true?
- About Neos -
I created the Neo concept back in 2006/7 as part of an effort to bring supernatural creatures into an advanced Sci Fi setting without having them become subsumed or displaced by sufficiently advanced technology. Basically in a world where everything that made supernaturals super in a mundane setting had itself become mundane how can they then be elevated back up to their former position?

It was a good story and the time is flew while I readed it, so really no problems
I will check your shifti page for sure later, thanks for the advice.
About the interest, I found the idea of the split and merge with "different personalities" something unique, I readed various stories since I am in DA and FA and this is the first one that I find to have this kind of "event", plus I find cool that even if they are merged in one, they can return to exists in a second moment, whenever the merged being want (pratically the neo concept). The idea of the forced change of the "soulmate" was great too, since make the neo change and at the same time being himself, which make this story even more interesting. (the fact that the main character(s) is a dragon help too since dragons are my favourite creatures honestly).
Probably is easier to say that I liked the concept of the whole story, it is hard to explain for me since the english isn't my mother-lenguage and I'm sorry if this message is full of errors or hard to understand
