Contrarious: (adj) difficult to deal with.
Otto and I weren't always friends. When he was first my caretaker, I was a bit contrarious, and not in a good place headwise. I didn't want to accept help with anything, and was desperate to either find a way to fend for myself or just end it all. I got offended anytime he tried to help me do anything I felt I could handle myself, and I'm afraid I really made life hard on the poor guy. Why we eventually became friends I have no idea... but I'm glad we did.
