Ah, I'm interested in how this will come together, but I'm perfectly content waiting for more progression photos, so no need to explain or anything.
final product would be all latex correct? well, latex facial cement/glues and fuzzies i guess.
I've seen some very nicely done masks using latex, I bet this turns out great :D If i were ever to go suiting, it would certainly have to incorporate a mask of this type, no skull cages for me, I'd flip out from not being able to see. XD

Really!? Klean's a bit too greasy for me. I just dig WED's flesh-rendering ability.
regardless the clay, i use a lot of texture stamps (easily made with a relatively thin layer of latex)
Orange peel's a favorite, and basketball is great for dog-ish nose texture... that kinda geometric scaly structure :]
The sculpt looks awesome thus far!! is the plaster face a life-cast of yourself?

I haven't tried WED yet!
I've got a few leather straps and gloves I could get leathery textures off of... and I got an orange peel stamp from a while ago. Not thick enough latex, I really gotta press for it to have an effect but... it works. Sorta! ^^
And for the bust... http://www.monstermakers.com/produc.....life-size.html

WED is miraculous.
I'd say in addition to the leather stamps, don't hesitate to layer up some latex on your elbow or that super-wrinkly area on the inner portion of one's foot.
Stinks of amonia but it's safe on skin, just be sure you aren't layering-up on a particularly hairy portion :0
