A PVC bow with poplar siyahs which I made for LARPing. Draws about 30 pounds, and shoots rather nicely. Doesn't quite have the range of some of my other bows, but the centershot design makes all the difference for accuracy.

As for its name, well... there's a bit of a story there. I dislike our king (purely IC of course, he's really a pretty cool guy) because he's a booze loving barbarian whom I see as unfit to be king. When I confronted him one day he responded by boasting that he "did" my mother, and he's my real father. To this day he still calls me his bastard son. Such slander is made worse by the fact that my REAL father is dead, having been slain by a similarly barbaric man on a mad rampage. And so unable to bear such slander any longer, I have vowed to end the dirty king's life! It shall be done with this bow, and each arrow loosed from it will represent one of his many flaws.

Oddly enough, the part about the arrows representing his flaws was actually his idea. :p Not every day that you hear about someone helping to plot their own assassination, right?
